Widely hailed as the most successful solo guitarist ever, Joe Satriani returns this spring. The Surfing With The Hydra Tour features the SATCHVAI Band—consisting of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Kenny Aronoff, Marco Mendoza, and Pete Thorn—with Animals As Leaders.

Joe Satriani (born July 15, 1956 in Westbury, New York) is a virtuoso American instrumental rock guitarist known for melodic phrasing, intense shredding and genre-blending styles. His breakthrough album “Surfing with the Alien” (1987) featured hits like “Satch Boogie” and “Always with Me, Always with You.” Latest album: The Elephants of Mars (2022); recent singles include “The Sea of Emotion, Pt. 1” and “I Wanna Play My Guitar” with Steve Vai and Glenn Hughes. He’s sold over 10 million albums, earned 15 Grammy nominations (yet no wins), founded the G3 tours, and collaborated with Mick Jagger, Deep Purple, Chickenfoot and Steve Vai.
